New Home Named Builder of the Year and Garden House at Rose Lane in Larkspur Recognized as Community of the Year

Last week during a momentous evening celebrated by the Bay Area’s most distinguished builders and developers, The New Home Company (NEW HOME, NYSE: NWHM) received top recognition in a variety of categories at the Bay Area Building Industry Association’s (BIA) Excellence in Home Building Awards.

Honored with the two most prestigious awards of the program, Builder of the Year and Community of the Year for its Garden House at Rose Lane neighborhood in Larkspur, the honors marked a significant milestone in the company’s growth and focus in the Bay Area market. “The New Home Company came to the Bay Area with a goal of creating residential neighborhoods that would appeal to the area's unique and progressive buyers, as well as stand the test of time in both design and quality craftsmanship,” said Kevin Carson, NEW HOME President Northern California.

NEW HOME's inaugural attendance at the awards was also celebrated with a wide variety of secondary wins, including:

• Plan 8, Garden House at Rose Lane: Best Architectural Design (Over 3,000 Square Feet) – Dahlin Group Architecture Planning

• David Pierson: Builder Community Superintendent of the Year (Rose Lane)
